Big Sams philosophy is just what the doctor ordered.Make the team organized, disciplined and hard to beat.Long term im not sure Big Sam has a future at Everton.But in the right here and right now, he's been perfect for us.Football is a basic game.Things like making yourself hard to beat, and seeing out games.It's a simple thing that is beyond (Mr Martinez im looking at you!) some managers comprehension.It's nice to feel confident optimistic and upbeat about Everton again.The fancy football can come in time.Get the bare essentials right, and the rest will look after itself.

I think that the general uplift of any new Managers arrival or announcement was a contributing factor in that game. You're right, Sam personally played no part, aside from turning up & starting the "New Manager" effect. You see it often where a downtrodden team lifts...God knows, we end up playing those teams often enough & lose!

It was a sarcastic remark to win 4-0 our best win of the season was nice for Unsy last game!
Some posters attribute it to Sam and he did nothing for that game it would have been illegal he had not signed his contract!
