He needs the personnel to do that. A centre forward. A fully fit seamus Coleman and a new attacking left back (you only have to look at Alonso for Chelsea today, the difference he would make to our team. Maybe he could entice N’Zonzi here, he would bring much needed stability and physical presence to the team.


Yeah thats what we need for Sam to start playing better and more attacking football.....2 new full backs!!!
 


We'd all love to be playing total football and giving teams a masterclass in the beautiful game...

But with no left back, Williams in defence, no true wingers and copious numbers of players who shouldn't be in the squad we will need to improve step by step.

That's either the Keegan approach or the Allardyce approach. Bolton were often very good value, the reason hes never won a trophy is due to the clubs hes managed.

Next season with Allardyce I will stick my neck out and say we will be top 4 or very close to it.

Allardyce's style can only take us so far.

It is laughable to suggest that it could possibly take us into the Champions League.
