Was speaking with my dad last night and he made this point....and then followed it up with "and he still doesn't" and chuckled....sad times really.

Maybe its because I'm in Canada where the footy press isn't constant, but to be honest I've never hated Big Sam, never particularly wanted him managing Everton, but have no true dislike for him. His record isn't all that bad and he's rarely actually been fired. He's the butt of a lot of jokes, but I'd rather have him than, Moyes (again), Pulis, Warnock, AVB if I'm honest, Pardew, and a few others.

I'm actually genuinely interested to see who he plays and how we do. He's supposed to be a great man manager and we really need that more than anything right now. Hopefully he'll get our defense sorted.
