You cant really knock him - he is working with what he has got. Attacking wise we are abysmal. At the moment and whilst Rooney is rested/out there is zero creativity apart from Sig on set-plays. It's not SA's fault - we bought the players - we should be happy he is getting points on the board. This team would have continued to lose under Koeman, Unsworth. He has done well to make us much more solid but going forward we remain horrendous.

As long as we are comfortably in the top half he should be given a couple of transfer windows to implement his plan on the team.

We can't expect miracles in January as it's always a nightmare to get the players in at the right price.

Great contribution.

He play a system the stifle our attacking threat and rely on hoof and expect the front 3 to mount a counter Attack on their own. He decides on 5/6 defender and that is the main reason the team achieve nothing going forward

I don't think he really needed to play 5 at the back today though, do you? Basically gave up an attacking player to sure things up against second from bottom.
Because he knows what he has got - not very much at all. The results he has got so far are incredible really - this squad is very, very, very poor. I am not happy he is our manager, but he knows how to defend and get points.

Think he could have got all three today if we'd bothered to attack them though. It's hard enough given the attacking players we've got, but we couldn't have made it any easier for West Brom than playing with 5 at the back with Davies and Schneiderlin. Such little threat.

Yeah maybe, but we open up and we are doomed if we don't take our chances. The squad is too slow to cope with the transition from attack to defence. None of the regulars in the back 4 (Keane / Baines / Jags / Williams ) have pace. Sig / davies / Schnieids / Rooney - all slow. The pace in this team is non-existent and we are exposed if the gaps become to wide between the defence and the midfield. Allardyce knows this so keeps the distances acceptable and units as close together as possible. Its not pretty but it gives us a chance although how we got away with it against the [Poor language removed] & Chelski I will never know. We should applaud him for that.

All we need to do is to unsettle them and that’s how a team slowly crumble when they lack confidence. If he can’t come out with a tactic to trouble West Brom, I simply don’t see a reason to support him anymore. First shot on target was 88min? Ffs

At least he knows, just needs to work on it now.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce: "Our football was average in possession, which continues to concern me. We are building blocks in terms of being resilient but we need to be better in possession.

"We've got another point, another clean sheet and we look forward to our injured and ill players come back so that, certainly in possession, we can get better."
