I dont think anyone hates him, tbh. We just want a bit of football too. Not too much to ask.A win against Bournemouth on sat though and it'd make his start here one that only the most fervent of Allardyce haters could argue against.

lolWe've got the worst of Moyes "attacking football" combined with the Unnnnnnsy phrasebook.
Allardyce Revisited. Lol.
That game was in the balance until Pickford made the save and Rooney scored a worldy. Along the way they smashed one against the bar and had other chances, we were on the ropes, unable to retain the ball for anymore than 3 passes or contain a bottom half team at Goodison. We were never 4-0 better than them and Moyes knew it was a missed opp. Against Watford, we were dead and buried until they made ridiculous defensive errors and even missed a pen in the last minute. Forget the score, performance wise we were not 4 goals better than West Ham. Water under the bridge now and the points are on the board. But for me Unsworth was managing via popularity with the playing staff rather than a proper tactical game plan on how to win football matches against specific opposition.Lucky? We won 4-0 mate. "Lucky" is hanging on against Chelsea at home when they have 25 shots.
There is also a huge difference between playing West Ham and playing Chelsea. Both were lucky, but one luckier than the other.Lucky? We won 4-0 mate. "Lucky" is hanging on against Chelsea at home when they have 25 shots.

A lot of it still comes down to personnel. Martina is still our left back. Honestly, he cannot defend anyone in space, neither can Williams. We are so severly shading attacking players like Sigurdsson over on his side to allow him to only prevent someone from getting wide. They are still getting crosses off at times, but yes, it's the medicine we need to take right now.I think its clear that he's put all his focus so far on defending properly, now's the time to spend some time on passing, movement etc.
If you are telling me that beyond May there are better management candidates out there for Everton that will spend Mosh's money wisely, create a football team to be proud of and give us a realistic chance of winning trophies whilst we build our new stadium, I will happily take that. Not sure there are though and SA might be here for at least another season yet. I have a feeling that despite my disgust at him being Everton manager, he is going to do quite well once he spends money on his own squad. Could be wrong but apart from the England job, this is the biggest opp of his career. You can always look at a game over 90 minutes and say this could have happened and that could have have happened and we got away with this and that; fact of the matter is that we played very well at times and thumped another PL team 4-0.
We wont get performances like that from any SA team, it's not what he does.
I understand that and accept it. I just dont wont this to continue beyond May, and I cant understand any patience with it beyond then from any Evertonian. It's dog days football. Just 'kin awful.

I’m no Allardyce fan, in fact I can’t stand the guy, but it takes time for any football manager to get his team to play how they want. It can only be done with time on the training pitch. We’re currently playing two games a week and will be until the first week in January. Then we’ll start having a full week between games, after 6-7 weeks of that we should see full impact of how Allardyce wants us to play.Half decent manager would have sorted us out
Not this anti football crook
