Better to be effective rubbish than the relegation rubbish being served up by the SAME players under different managers.

See what happens when he has got his players in. If these are typical Sam players he will get the stick he deserves at that time. It’s going to be interesting Feb 1st to see who he’s brought in.
Yes, he deserves to prove himself, I agree. But he better add some firepower or he's out.

From the 6 games he's been in the dugout for we've had 20 shots on target.

That's just not on.

Yes we're grateful the defence is more solid. Yes we have reason to tip our hat to him. But we are not Sunderland or Palace and this tripe will not do.

Sort it Sam.
I wonder when big Sam will try sawdust?lol

Pretty sure that is Sammy Lee,s To Do List.

I don’t think they’d want to come here. We are not a great drawcard anymore. I’m not sure who might be our next manager but if Sam continues getting the results and keeps us out of the relegation mire, I’m quite content to let him continue for as long as he wants to be here.
£6/7M per year. They'll walk here.

A win against Bournemouth on sat though and it'd make his start here one that only the most fervent of Allardyce haters could argue against.

Everyone should be glad we're looking a bit more solid and not losing games, so I don't think it's a case of hating Allardyce, more a case of hating the footy he has played for most of his managerial career.

Massive question marks as to whether he's capable of that. At some point this season we have to go through a spell of playing good football or his job will be on the line soon enough.

Dave, today was just rubbish. Should have beaten this lot. Allardyce needs to stand up and show he can do more than just organise a defence. Clean sheets do not win game, goals do!

We have won one away game all season (maybe all year?) why are you expecting us to beat West Brom away?

Though to be fair Allardyce has raised expectations by winning that away game....the swine.

In response to the defensive shambles we were at the end of November, he has given us shape, discipline and improved the form of our defenders, making us really difficult to beat.

This has resulted in 3 wins, including our first away win since January, and 3 draws, including against Liverpool and Chelsea, in the league. We've gone from conceding countless goals to only 2 in 6 under him.

Today was poor going forwards but he is acknowledging this and he isn't a magician.

He deserves time, easily until the end of this season. We haven't even lost a match under him.
