We're now tied with Leicester on points, 6 behind Burnley and 2 ahead of Watford.
So despite the game today, things are going well under him still. In the BBC interview its mentioned no other Everton manager has gone undefeated for their first 7 games (all comps).

If we had won today as we should darn well have done, two points up on Leicester and closing on Burnley.

Thing is I'm sure if we kept Rhino would of been in serious danger of going down, under Koeman we would of been gone, Sam has turned that around and made us really hard to beat, job done, he is doing exactly what we have paid and needed him to do

Only if they’re motivated by money alone...and we’ve seen how that worked out with the fat golfing Dutchman. If they are only here for the money, we should be very wary. And yes, I appreciate the element of Catch 22 in all this ‘Everton is no longer a big enough name to attract world class talent on its own, so must pay above the odds to get it...but we don’t want managers only here for the money’...not after Fat Ron .
As I said, until that vicious circle is resolved, (and I don’t see how it can ), I prefer the safe stewardship of Big Sam.
Sam's not a man for all seasons. He's short term. He does his stuff and leaves.

I dont think that will deviate here.

How he's managed to turn the defence around is some coaching performance.

I'd have taken a point away today before kick off against a team who would be bang up for it today at home.

Sam is managing Wazza brilliantly too, family Xmas etc I'm convinced rather than mega I'll, and will pay dividends.

We were 17th. We weren't even in the drop zone. And there were 25 games left. But yes... doomed

:bye:

I don't want Allardyce but if I had to pick between him and relegation, then I'm not picking to be relegated ffs

"Nothing will be the same"

Except from the fact you can spend 200m, leave us in the relegation zone, amd still not get sacked.

In reply to Joey's

If we win 3-0 Unsy would not get the job!

I should hope not. I don't want to guarantee a relegation in November.
