Also, could not give a flying one if the football is dull. I enjoyed going to the match under Moyes far more than I did in two of Martinez’s three seasons of ‘flair’ football.

Wins are entertaining.

Wins are all that matter I agree. But he's a 30% win ratio manager. Low even for everton standards. A decade of bottom half finishes? Top ten should still be our aim this year. We are less than half way.

Nah that's harsh that.

She is an evertonian who probably doesn't have anywhere to channel her discontent. We can smash our keyboards here and feel better about it, but that blue - ticket paid and attending on a cold midweek night - just wanted to have her say on a contentious issue.

Plus, that's someone's (likely another blue) mother. Show some decency
There has to be better ways then to make a sign like that though mate?! I mean it's just so RS like. I haven't missed a home game in over twenty years now so she's got no moral high ground as far as being a "paying fan" goes. Look, nobody is saying you have to be happy about Big Sam but do people have to vent their anger in such a cringey way?! We'd all be pissing ourselves laughing if she was a RS.

Sickening seeing that corrupt, conniving, horribly average manager at the helm of this football club. Somehow the idiots in charge managed to make it worse by hiring that runt to work with him.

Although given the acceptance of most on here we deserve no better. Passive bunch of clowns.

Mate, I have NO interest this time around in backing embattled managers or warring with them.

I'm sitting this one out unless he proves a complete disaster.

I just want some decent football to be proud of and a top ten finish.

I dont think I anywhere near dislike Allardyce as much as some do. I just see him as a bit of a dinosaur and an unnecessary appointment.
When @Adam-GOTTV and I did the podcast after Koeman was sacked, we both basically agreed that we would take Jim from Asda before Sam.

As time went on and results (and performances, markedly) worsened, I came around to the idea.

Of course he wasn’t top of my list, or anyone’s let’s be honest, but now he’s here I’m prepared to give him a go - hey, if he does well, then Everton have done well.

That’s just my take - I just feel some of the (perfectly understandable) negativity is a tad OTT currently. Maybe the dust will settle.

Again, we have no idea of that lady's motivations or indeed resources. Our biggest protest group once hired a plane.

I don't genuinely think it is that bad. There's a flag been seen at Wembley with "Sammy Lee drinks his piss"... and now he is on our coaching staff. Isn't that worse?
