Sam was brought here to steady the ship. Not as a long term appointment. He's done relatively well with a poor squad so far. The football has been shocking but it was shocking and we were getting thrashed before he arrived. It's painful to watch but it's also painful for about 18 other teams in the league

Very sensible post.

We have a squad of yard dogs as it is.

Rooney. Siggy, Niasse, Lennon and Bolasie all on the pitch at the final whistle.

That's not parking the bus.

Those 5 were all on the pitch when they scored their second goal.

We have got to face the truth sometime.

At the moment, we do not have the talent at this club to take the game to any team in the Premier League.

Our defence is still very fragile.

JJK is a kid learning his trade the hard way.

Williams and Jags should be featuring only as cover.

Martina , well words fail me.

That line up needs all the help it can get, that is why Sam picks 2 or 3 DM's a game.

Hi mert, you said we have a team of yard dogs but then list people who were on the pitch to win the game. Contradicting much?? Are these players yard dogs or not??

Oh and FYI he parked the bus, it’s wjy he went to a struggling Bournemouth side and had a block of 7 ensuring we didn’t concede

But thanks for you concern

In my opinion only Rooney and Siggy would be getting a game if we had a half decent squad.

And like i said in my original post

He parked the bus and we were 1-1.

He changed to a more attacking line up, which you keep calling for, and we ended up losing the game 2-1.

Again i ask, Which line up would you prefer?

I am judging Sam Allardyce in the context of him, inheriting a shambles of an Everton side, that couldn't stop losing. He has done well in the short time, he has been here to arrest the slide. Now if we go out of the cup next month, and there's no sign of the football improving, then of course i would want a new manager for next season.

But i honestly think that people need to get off the managers back for now. There has been a lot of improvement, in the one month he has been here.Remember that Southampton game!At least the hammerings have stopped. But yeah there is still a load of improving to do.

He should never have taken Gana off, then moving Rooney into the middle with Schneiderlin was a mistake, once Gana went off Bournemouth just walked through us down the middle.
