Keep him next season and the club will regress beyond repair, almost 2 years of our youth will be so accustom to feel inferior that their developement years will turn into losers rather than winners. This mindset will never be able to overcome no matter which manager we appoint after that.

And there’s this World Cup year with lots of manager available, once we miss the boat to hire a good manager, we will never have the same chance again.

My entire life time supporting this club, I have never seen a manager parking the bus against 2 relegation team in consecutive matches. Not even Moyes.

Our attacking dismal display is all the hallmark of pulling back attacking players to keep it tight. A good manager that understands counter Attack will deploy 2 wide man as wide and as high up the pitch as possible to have a launch pad for out ball. Sam chooses to keep the wide man near our fullback and use only dcl to make meaningless chase Long ball after Long ball.

People might thing a Turkish striker will solve all our problem but in fact he will arrive and play as a lame duck due to the way we sit at the back.

Happy new year, my resolution is plain and simple, big Sam must not be around after may

I doubt anyone is enjoying the football, some just have more patience than others, asking for a manager to be given the boot after 8 games, only 1 loss in that too, after he took over a lead balloon, I have never seen anything like it.

I won't be able to take opinions seriously in future regards managers if that is how we are judging now.

Also people act like the School of Science has been operating smoothly for the past 30 years, well, it hasn't has it. I have seen football just as bad and worse than this. Let's give him a chance at least.

Jesus get a grip
When he has a squad that keep the ball whichbus passed forwards then you can counterattack
He has plainly said this
The confidence and skills aren’t there yet
So why hurtle forwards and leave us upen to a fast quality counterattacking team .... it would be a massacre ..... you would soon be screaming for the bus to be parked
I’ve never seen an Everton manager steady the ship in such a fast pace ... I believe once he gets a couple of players able to hold and distribute ... you will see a change
WAY TOO EARLY FOR YOUR UNREALUSTIC HISTRIONICS

At some point you do have to question the sense of it all, we might end up parking the bus against any team in the league because the players are made to feel inferior.

So what if our transfer fails to land us a good striker to counter attack alone with no support? I doubt there is any striker in the world can do that on his own when wingers and playmaker are so deep doing defensive work.

So what is realistic if Cenk can’t fulfil that role? Are you expecting us to park the bus for the next 17 games or you would want sam to somehow think of a way to counterattack with purpose the with the players he has?

I’m not asking for gung ho Newcastle style kamakazi attack, all we need is put wingers higher up and wide to receive the ball as a launch pad for attack. The rest of the defensive work should be done by the remaining 8 or 7 players. That is sufficient and if a manager need 10 players to effectively keep it tight, that’s something very wrong about his capability.

The board will be delighted, as will Walsh, that Allardyce provides such a convenient scapegoat for their incompetence and failings.

He is doomed from the off with some regardless of how well or badly he does.

The fact is that he is manager because the board couldn’t find anyone else willing and available and that is entirely on them.

A sudden change in philosophy from Allardyce is very unlikely to improve our fortunes and may serve the opposite purpose.

We need another overhaul so soon after the busiest summer ever. No manager is doing anything revolutionary with this squad as it stands, whether it be Allardyce, Tuchel, Silva, Simeone, or whatever name is mentioned. We need money, and lots of it.

I respect your opinion, but its all scaremongering tosh. Why should our youth players feel inferior? Thank God its Sam Allardyce in charge and not you. Kenny and Holgate have thrved under SAm, DCL continues to gain experience,Keene has fought his way back into contention, and others will get their opportunity. If they are good enough, they will get their chance. Every successful team, even City, is built on a strong defensive base, and for the first time (well, second if you include Bolton) SAm is at a club that requires more than firefighting. Top eight or Europe and he's here next season. It may be that Sams age is what ends his career.
I'd rather have a good old common sense manager who knows exactly what he's doing than any flash in the pan with a fancy name.

If he surrenders this game from the start it will be the beginning of the end for him. Man U under the Goodison lights are beatable.

Pick a balanced team and get right into them.
Agreed, tonight could see the crowd who are on the fence, turn on him. The performance far outweighs the result tonight.

Or wide players are average and inconsistent.

Our whole attack is summed up that way.

You can't expect us to be a good attacking threat when we don't have a good attacking unit with zero creativity...bar Wayne Rooney.
