Like it or lump it.He's here until the end of the season at least. He did inherit bit of a mess. But he is the sort of manager, that will only get you so far.Im happy to put up with him until May at least. The time to unleash the fume though, is if he's still here in August!

That passive acceptance of mediocrity by the majority of our fan base is the reason the club is such a basket case from the top down

Problem isn't him, he is managing the only way he can with the players he has, but the fact that we have recruited horribly for the last 5 years since Martinez imo. We are playing old players with no legs (Williams), young players who shouldn't have to carry the responsibility they are (DCL) and in general crap players (Niasse). This shouldn't be, and is down to terrible decision making off the pitch. Hopefully January is good and we can get the right players to keep us up the table but the summer is CRUCIAL if we want to make any progression. An example of what I mean, is that we would have equalised if we had a decent striker (relates back to the summer) but Niasse headed wide, or the countless times the ball came straight back at us due to having no hold up play.

No mate, did you see the massive void between our midfield and Niasse, probably about 60 or so yards.

That’s called tactics and keeping everyone behind the ball

Excuse me mate.I always demand the best from Everton.Under normal circumstances, i wouldn't want Allardyce here. But this season has been anything but normal. As it is i can put up with him until May at least. But i would imagine, that the board presuming they have any sense of ambition, are already looking into a replacement in the summer.

Replacing Allardyce before May isn’t an option. That’s not ‘passive acceptance of mediocrity,’ it’s an acceptance of a harsh reality.

We want to be taken as a serious prospect by the world’s best managers. You don’t do that by working your way through 4 managers in a season.

You’ve literally just provided an example of a passive acceptance of mediocrity.

All the small, rubbish decisions made by the board add up to the cluster **** that is today’s Everton.

Well if the choice is between Allardyce or Unsy to see out the season, then i would have to go with Big Sam unfortunately.I have high standards for Everton, but im a realist as well. It's not as if Mr Guardiola, will hot foot his way down the M62 to us now is it?
