It's just relentless mismanagement.

We needed a new centre-half desperately, so we went out and spent £9.5m on Funes Mori. God awful, had no experience of the league etc etc.
We needed to replace Stones, got given £50m to do it, and we've ended up with Mason Holgate being our best option.
We needed to replace Barry, and have spent £50m+ buying vastly worse alternatives.
We needed a new striker to take the load off Lukaku, we spent £13.5m on Niasse.
We needed a new striker when Lukaku got sold, we were given £90m to do it with, and we started the season with Niasse and Calvert-Lewin, who genuinely couldn't find a team mate for 30 mins today.
And now, when we thought it couldn't get much worse, we appoint Sam Allardyce, who has actually made an appalling football team into, well, a team that has managed no shots in the first half in 6 games in his time, and three games in the league with no shots on target, something we didn't manage in 222 games beforehand.

How Allardyce has managed to make us worse is totally beyond me.
This my friend hits the nail on the head! It's even worse than all you have listed here but I don't have the will power to list anymore as it is too depressing!

What an utter dog shyt manager we have. We really struck gold with a delusional Muppet in Martinez, a big headed arrogant whopper in Koeman and an absolute stain of football in Allardyce.

What Do these 3 have in common?

None of the top 6 sides would touch them with a shytty stick
So true. Why can't we throw enough money at Simone or that guy who now managers PSG ( forgot his name). Some say they won't come but just pay them a crazy amount of
Money! Just add up the amounts of wasted money on players and managers payouts.

Silva is performing worse than allardyce. Surely dyche would be the best bet

Both had relegated a club and one of them is doing ok for 23 games in one season. This has not proved anything in the PL. Koeman got 6th and 7th in 2 full seasons at Soton before coming to Everton.

We need better than those 2 you mentioned.

"I should have got back to being a bit more boring and a bit less adventurous."

Is he messing?! Hahahaha.

He’s really trying to spin it so he can do no wrong. Hate him as our manager.

Relegating a club isn’t a baramoter in my opinion. You need to take a full view of things Burnley do not have a premier league wage structure or infrastructure. Man Utd finishing outside the top 4 is far worse than relegation with Burnley.
Silva to his credit didn’t have a chance with Hull

Same bloked who shushed the west ham fans when they won a game when they where giving him stick mate.

Just wait, he will end up doing the same here as well.

Everton shouting we needed him because of his rescue acts etc completely ignored his one season at Newcastle and what happened to them with him in charge (instead preferring to look at his time at Palace, Sunderland etc)

Scored 11 goals in his last 13 games in charge - only scored more than 1 goal in 2 of those games, conceded 28, 2 wins 3 draws 8 losses (so 9 points out of 13 games - 39 points available).

Included in those where a 4-1 home loss against Portsmouth, and a 6-0 away loss at Man U.

They where in such a mess after he left as well that the form continued with 3 draws and 5 losses in their next 8 games (scored 3, conceded 17)

and that is after him and Walsh had spent the summer bringing in about a dozen players into that team as well, so can't blame someone elses players - they where his ones.

Reason I'm drawing the parallel with his time there, is because his first 9 games he did well in charge, 5 wins 2 draws and 2 losses, (scored 16, conceded 11)

At all other clubs i think he has started poorly then slowly picked them up and gathered steam after a month or two in charge, with us we seem to be following the direction he took at Newcastle more so, a good early start results wise, then a alarming drop in results, performances.

another reason i think Newcastle is a better comparison is that it's by far and away the biggest job he had prior to us, the other teams he's managed also had a fan base beaten down by 3-4 years of constant struggling to stay up, so was a case of them and the players being willing to fully back anything that would save them, we don't have that record, the fans don't expect it and the players aren't ready for it

Has he gone yet? Is this nightmare over

We need to be more boring than having 0 shots on target ( again ) I honesty wish I didn't like football at times like this. It's just horrible init
