Being stupid after a few drinks isn't criminal or the jails would be full.Still maybe Moshiri employed him to make the spotlight point eleswhere.

Once again, there's far more than the England thing you seem to want to focus on.

This wasn't 'being stupid after a few drinks' >>> http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ok-bungs-claims-bbc-investigation-416671.html

The case against Allardyce, a candidate for the England manager's job last season, will attract the most attention and centres on the relationship between his son Craig, a former agent, and Peter Harrison, another licensed football agent. Harrison is secretly filmed boasting that he makes payments to Craig in order to bribe Sam to carry out transfers. On film Harrison says: "If I say, 'Listen, Sam, I'll give Craig some money'... he'll say, 'Yeah, OK, we'll do a deal.'"

Now you'd think something like that would spark the interest of the relevant authorities. But as yet it seems it hasn't.But then never let a lack of any concrete proof get in the way of a good story.Just noticed it's a nearly 12 year old story....Crown Prosecution must be slipping.

Don't know, are you? Or do you know of a way to hide cash payments taken over many years. If you do please let me know.

No mate, it is utterly impossible to hide cash payments over a period of years, that is why the world has seen an end to corruption and such things like that, all the people guilty of those actions have long been found and incarcerated

Football managers, members of the house of parliament, the trading floor and stockbroker exchange, and every last business deal these days are all completely clean and above board.

Meanwhile only 24 days till Santa visits your house pulled on his slad by a Reindeer with a nose that glows in the night. Hope you sent your list in to him mate, he is completely real

You think that the relevant authority is HMRC btw?

I used to work for them mate, and errrm they don't really deal with what amounts to fraud, that would be the mets fraud investigation unit mate

It's not about avoiding tax, it's about criminal offences

I’m not sure that is proof of anything

I can only speak from personal experience, and believe me if HMRC think your taking cash payments they track down everything. But then if you think Sam has the same media and tax evasion network as the Houses of Parliament and the economic sector...

Oh I don't doubt for one second he's as corrupt as they come and tbh I still don't want him anywhere near us.

But the unfortunate fact is that we're bad enough to warrant it atm - and that is because the club hierarchy didn't act quickly and with purpose when Koeman went.

Lads while he is with us the least we can do is give him a chance. Forget his past etc he is with us now and we need him to sort a mess out. Lets now get behind him. The choice of him as manager has now been made and not much we can do about it apart from hoping he does well for our teams sake and our sake. Not my choice and the last manager I wanted but nowt I can do but support him. It might be ugly but who knows. Review at seasons end then we have another decision to make.

Once again, there is no proof and nobody has said they have any. I don't have proof the moon is cold but there's a decent chance it is.

Is that really so hard to understand???
If only the law worked that way. Here's an idea, you take out a half page in the Echo saying he's taken bungs, wait a week or so and see what happens.

I'm aware of what they do,and if they think fraud is involved they pass on the relevant paperwork. It seems to be taking it's time reading that article.

To me, the next 6 months are more about whats going to happen on the board level as a whole structure, obviously Bill's time is almost up, Moshiri is now taking over, as he said in the interview, on the field we need stability, Sam will provide that, but the mess we are in as a club is bigger than the mess of the team, we can't go on like the way it was since Moshiri took over, he has to fix it and bring his own CEO and Chairman and he has to run the show from now on.

As for Sam, I think he is on a probation period, we won't go down, we weren't going down under Unsworth anyway, but he will have the next 6 months to prove to Moshiri he deserves the further 12 months and beyond, somehow win win situation for us the fans, if he ends up staying beyond next summer it means he did very well and is the right man for the job, but he knows and Moshiri knows that he is here for the next 6 months only.
