Brought in to steady the sinking ship. We had 15 points from 14 games when he came in (that’s if you don’t give him any credit for West Ham). We were averaging around a point per game in the league. A ratio to get you relegated. He’s put up 16 points in 11 games almost getting close to ensuring safety. Job almost done for Sam.
Exactly.

Sam is doing what he can. I hope we get better in the summer but for now he's the best option available.
Looking at the number of unemployed alleged top managers uninterested in taking us on,he was the only option. But that'll be his fault.

Realistically, I can see us getting 4 points from our next 3 games. So that would mean he would have 20 points from 14 as opposed to 15 from 14. He's spent £50m and had 2 key players become available who the previous managers couldn't pick. It's not exactly an incredible turnaround is it.

given the run of fixtues as well, he's had 6 games against teams in or around the bottom 3 during his time and the Leicester game we were helped with the whole mahrez thing

total myth that he's done a good job

Why not wait and see what the results are before you judge.
What if we won all three it would mean 29 from 14 which would be very satisfactory this season, unlikely but Schrodinger's cat applies here.

And what if we lose them all and have a massive 1 point more than the 14 before he took over? It wasn't me making the comparison, it was the poster I was replying to. I'm quite happy to say that the evidence of my own eyes tells me we haven't really improved, I just thought sticking to the points per game thing might make it a bit clearer.

We haven’t improved? Since getting battered by Southampton and Atalanta? We haven’t improved from that? Ok.

Oh cool are we just picking out the games that suit our argument? Losing 4-0 at Spurs wasn't as good as drawing 1-1 with City. I WIN, I WIN!

Man utd could have and probably should have lost 3/4 nil to Spurs. It wasn't a great result for us and you could see the confidence we gained ebbed away afterwards but if Spurs click they can do that to any team.
