To address the points in order:

The Derby link was sent to me last night by a Forest mate glad that he didn't go there and is in the Echo and in the Derby Telegraph today - https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sp.../lookman-everton-derby-county-leipzig-1150101

I take your point about his opportunities being potentially more limited at Leipzig, but their youth system really is absolutely top notch and they have one of the youngest teams in Europe. I do genuinely believe he will learn more there, but you are correct that it would be less than desirable if he only gets cameos off the bench there. Even then though, I can't help feeling exposure to another culture, another (let's face it, far more advanced) tactical regime and a new league, will all help him mature and broaden his outlook in a positive way. I wish far more English players would go abroad, including our own youngsters out on loan, rather than sending them to Sunderland or wherever.

It is not unreasonable to suggest some of our fans, possibly me included, have overhyped him or expected to much. I do disagree though with your derby point as he was the driving force behind our goal, probably our best team goal of the season at that (not saying much I know). He also played very well against the Cypriots even if it was a dead rubber, and frankly we've been two one paced against many teams this season meaning his pace and trickery, even if slightly one dimensional themselves, have given us another option at times.

Where did you hear these homesick stories? I had not seen them but it would be a shame if true and I completely agree with your point that the club should do more. I remember an interview, I think in The Times, with him, Tom, Dom, Jonjo and Kieran at the start of the season and they appeared to all get on well together. If he is on his own you'd hope the club would encourage him to move in somewhere next to the other lads or even with them.

There was a post recently from a supporter who saw Lookman eating alone in his hotel, and there have been other stories in the past...in fact Koeman may have mentioned it at some time. We paid Charlton(?) a fairly substantial fee and Lookman did not really have the benefit of 'bonding' with the under 23s in the same way as the others, and some stories of his homesickness came out at the time.

Moving to Germany should sort out the home sickness, especially Lepzig in former East Germany the home of '''white Europe'.

Behave. Leipzig is a happening place attracting lots of youth to its uni and nightlife.

Been in former east Germany and Leipzig, the brother in law taught languages at the University until 2 years ago, and many parts of what was East Germany struggles with racism that is not experienced elsewhere in Germany no more so than Leipzig it’s there and the Uni has been embroiled very recently in racism.

Embroiled meaning a professor at the uni has made some controversial comments on Twitter? Those comments said things like 'the African & Arabic people have ruined their own countries through corruption & religious dogma of their own making, and they're bringing this attitude into Germany'.

Controversial? Yes. Correct? Debateable. Racist? No. It's his opinion and because some people don't like it he's labelled a racist. In the Current Affairs forum we're debating things like this in the Fake News thread.

Suffice to say I've also been in Leipzig and it's a far cry from the racism found in places like South Africa, Australia, Russia, Serbia or USA.

Ade will be fine.

A lot said the same last season when we were at the start of December on a poor run and sat in 7th, and it happened.

I appreciate there are major weaknesses and flaws in our team and it may turn out that we don't get near 7th. But Leicester showed tonight that they're very ordinary, especially without Mahrez, and Burnley are on a terrible run. The sides below us have had ample opportunity to climb above us since the Swansea game and haven't.

We now have one of our best and most influential players back in Coleman and Walcott looks like he could build a strong partnership with him. Both have pace and caused the 7th placed side a load of problems. Tosun and Mangala have been brought in too so hopefully they will improve us.

I think the Left Back situation is what will cost us if we don't come in the top 7-9 and that is on all of them including Allardyce for me. I'm also disappointed with Allardyce's decision to not give Lookman more of a chance. Don't know if there is something with Lookman's attitude though as that's 3 managers who have all been reluctant to give him a proper go. But the evidence he's shown on the pitch, especially in an attacking sense shows that he's easily good enough to be playing, especially when other young players like Holgate, Kenny, DCL and Davies have been given a chance.
We had a massive purple patch in January that we don't look to be getting this time around.

Gravy head obviously wouldn't have the cajonies to do this but I'd love us to go unchanged against arsenal and get right in their faces and go for it like we did for 50 odd minutes against Leicester

It's an 'expected loss' and we never get anything from there anyway so may as well go for it

Hmmmmm casting negative aspersions across entire ethnicities in a generalizing manner?

Nope, can't see why he would be accused of racism there mate.

Sort yourself out holliday because that post is an embarrassment.

Hope Lookman avoids the Uni parties if they're being indoctrinated by lovely folk like him.
