Lookman isn't going to change our awful squad

Not really about changing the squad but more not being consistent in what you do as a manager and isolating young attacking talent for no reason other than they don't fit in with our ''back to basics'' approach. Even his past comments about certain players having their chance just reeks of a man who lacks trust in his players and prefers the good old Premiership tested approach.

Look at Tosun for example. Started against Spurs, had a hard time being so badly isolated on his debut - dropped for the next two games. For me Allardyce is a dinosaur and is somebody a club like ours should be well clear of, yes we looked in serious danger before he came in but he's treating us like Sunderland.

As said in the match thread, there's no chance he's getting sacked before the summer and don't know why people are suggesting it could happen.

Who on earth do we give it to if we sack him now?

Silva? We're in a relegation battle so we sign a man who got relegated last season and got sacked from the Watford job?

Sadly I think we have to persist with Allardyce to the end of the season

Get to 40 points, stay up and then sack him in the tunnel right after the West Ham game

13th march donetsk return leg with roma, they go out the cl, hire fonseca to start the next day

When will we get a manager that sticks to a system and personnel that suit it? our best years under moyes were built on it, leicster won the title doing it. Why keep chopping and changing the side for the opposition. We have never done that till this car crash of a season.

We need a new manager NOW, the next window shuts August 9th, and with the world cup it's going to be harder to sign players without any forward planning, I think may is too late

Come on mate, which team aiming to win Europa League brings in Eddie Howe as manager? Sevilla, Lyon, Milan, Dortmund etc. we should be in that category of club in terms of ambition and based off the resources we have. None of those teams hires an average mid-table manager just because of his age and nationality.
The ambition of getting big Sam
I just plucked those names out of my head
Obviously I would love a top class manager with high expectations

Everton manager Sam Allardyce said: "It was a disaster. I think I have a lot of trouble with the players taking onto the pitch what we asked them to do. Consistency has been a worry since that burst when I came in, the fact we can perform at that level against Leicester then dip so low in the first 45 minutes against Arsenal.

"The longer and longer I go on, the players are showing so much inconsistency that I face an uphill battle trying to get them to play at their best week in, week out. It was a pathetic first-half performance."

Sam Allardyce to MOTD: "You set out to block the areas Arsenal like to play in, we had the same gameplan that Swansea had on Tuesday. We studied how Swansea played, how defensively sound they were and how they limited Arsenal to very few chances.

"Swansea only had 30% possession but created chances, but I may as well have been talking in a foreign language. We didn't implement my plans either defensively or offensively and the game was dead and buried.

"It doesn't matter what system I pick, it's aboutplayers playing to their best. You can show them

Even Koeman admit his mistake and take the blame for certain games but big Sam feels he’s above everyone at the club.

You setup a team with no passing ability and expect them to do well against Arsenal? The best way to play against Arsenal for the past 5 years is to hurt them before they break you down but you choose a team of timid footballer who cannot string 10 passes or create anything decent and let Arsenal launch waves after waves of Attack. Fat utter weapon.
