People saying we are already safe from relegation, cripes, more faith than me, it's only 7 points. The way we play, no way are we safe yet. I can't use the argument that at least 3 teams are worse than us as i'm struggling to think who at the minute.

This lot will win the next home game. It’s a reoccurring theme. As soon as they’re under the microscope for relegation they’ll do the bare minimum to avoid that before slacking off immediately as soon as the pressure is off. Utter cowards.

Here are 10:

Watford, West Ham, Brighton, Southampton, Palace, Newcastle, Swansea, Stoke, Huddersfield, West Brom.

All have been below us since we beat Swansea in mid December, and only Southampton out of those sides have beaten us this season. Since the Swansea game we have played Chelsea and Man United (H), and Spurs and Arsenal (A) in 4 of our last 8 league games. We now have a run of fixtures against the sides below us where we will pick up points like we have all season against them.

He can criticise and call the team pathetic all he wants, but it was him who set them out in the back 5 which has never worked. It’s him who’s tactics stifle any kind of attacking play. And it’s him and his best mate who failed to bring in a left back and decided Mangala, who’s already failed in this league is good enough to play for us.

Completely agree with this. We had 7 defensive minded outfield players on the pitch. It was a spineless selection that backfired badly because the defenders were not used to playing with each other. Pointless playing that front three if we have no means of keeping possession and bringing them into the game. One of our biggest problems currently is the lack of footballing ability in our CM’s and CB’s
Spot on. How a guy on mega wages can get it that badly wrong genuinely distresses me.

They're not worse than us, they're just struggling as well, on current form we are bloody awful, 5 defeats in 7, overtaken by Bournemouth yesterday and only 7 yes 7 points from relegation zone, there have been teams in the past at this stage of the season who thought they were safe but went into free fall. I'm not saying that will happen of course but I'm also not to egotistical to say it can't happen, it can.

Really, really hope we’re being proactive for once and have his replacement lined up already.
I reckon this is a very real possibility. I often look to the fact that Allardyce was only given 18 months as a marker and that Moshiri stated he brought him in specifically for 'stability' means that he has alternative plans lined up in the summer.

Don't get all criticism of Allardyce over Lookman - 'if he'd have played vs Arsenal he'd have made the difference'. He's a young player and going on loan to get game time is the best thing for him. He has played well in flashes so far but not yet consistently. Hopefully Germany will work out well for him and he'll get the experience he needs....

To get away from Allardyce is the best thing for him, the lad's obviously not stupid.
