Folks what did you expect?

Surely everyone wasn't thinking what a great squad we had and that Allardyce only had to turn up to put things right.

We are in a mess not of Allardyce's making. Apart from the pigs ear he's made of a couple of away games, he is kind of getting things moving in the right direction. Slowly.

We have got more chance of getting to 40 points without the defensive defeatist blame deflecting fraud here. His performance since 23rd December which is almost 6 weeks now has been nothing short of shambolic. 6 points out of a possible 24. Absolutely appalling and after yesterdays embarrassment in which he himself was the main instigator with his completely unnecessary changes which included 8 defenders on the pitch and then throwing all of his players under the bus and calling them pathetic whilst deflecting all blame away from himself, it is an absolute disgrace and there is more than enough justification to terminate him and his merry men and the extortionate salaries being paid out to them.

We only need 3 wins out of the last 13 games and we have only got 2 of the top 6 left to play. Even bloody Unsworth could achieve that.

Had enough of him and cannot stomach him any further. Just want him gone before he embarrasses and damages us any further.

Agree with all of that mate....just been chatting to my son and we made the decision to swerve the aways until he has gone...cant stand the egotistical bell

To be potentially obtuse here. While I feel that he threw the players under the bus last night and tried to avoid any personal culpability, it was pathetic. It was a valid assessment of what we saw.

The squad is unbalanced and was not constructed with an actual team in mind. But if the players are just going through the motions and not playing for the shirt then I think think they are pathetic as well.

He picked that team last night ~ the ones selected looked at each other and looked at those left on the bench ~ they knew they were incapable of keeping a clean sheet and no chance of winning - probably felt like they were being hung out to dry and did they prove it. Never seen a more spineless performance, perhaps Kiev, perhaps Highbury midweek, perhaps Anfield. You know what....probably too often.

But Allardyce having picked that team and them tactics completely distanced himself from any responsibility for that embarrassment. Our first team are full of egos and thinktheyarebetterthantheyares as it is, Fathead taking zero responsibility for that debacle doesn’t bode well for digging and taking points in the weeks ahead.

I remember them downing tools in Rooneys last season before the Euros first time round when we got spanked week on week out as they rebelled against Moyes’ approach - that humiliation at Maine Road should have been on my first list of spineless Everton performances.

Fathead won’t turn it round, we’ll limp over the line this year and it’s up to Moshiri to do something about it, not in August, but in May. Sam has to go, a whole army of no marks in that first team need to go and we need to start again.

What i don't get with Sam is that this is what he spent all those years at places like Bolton and Blackburn whinging about. Every football fan remembers the whole 'Sam Allerdicio' speech he came out with. Now he has a chance at a big club, he is surrounded by all of his mates in Walsh, Shakespeare, and Lee, the club has money to spend, he's on a fat wage in £6m a year. Yet so far all he has done is show how limited and outdated a manager he really is, something which most fans all knew anyway.

I bet Sam, Sammy, Craig and Steve go for a few jars of ale on a Saturday night, have a few cigars and have a right laugh about how Everton are paying them loads of money for doing naff all.

The quicker these poisoned frauds leave the better.

They're not worse than us, they're just struggling as well, on current form we are bloody awful, 5 defeats in 7, overtaken by Bournemouth yesterday and only 7 yes 7 points from relegation zone, there have been teams in the past at this stage of the season who thought they were safe but went into free fall. I'm not saying that will happen of course but I'm also not to egotistical to say it can't happen, it can.

So you don't think the likes of West Brom, Newcastle or West Ham are worse than us? How can you explain that?

West Brom are 11 points below us and had 2 opportunities to beat us and couldn't. Burnley are closer in points to Arsenal than West Brom are to us so think you have to concede they are worse.

Newcastle are 6 points behind us and managed to let themselves be the first side in 11 months to be beaten by us at home. Don't see how you can argue they are better than us, especially as they have only just come up and have a team full of Championship level players.

We're 4 points ahead of West Ham and we put 4 goals past them in our most recent fixture.

3 teams straight away that are quite clearly worse than us.

I know this may be unpopular with people, and I surely don't want him back, but Koeman actually cared a little bit. Sam acts as if he's blameless and no one else could do any better. Koeman towards the end looked disheveled and distraught. It obviously affected Koeman.

Koeman and Sam are exactly the same, both blamed the players rather than themselves. The only time Koeman took the blame was when we ended up with our worst ever start to a league season and European campaign.

He ran out of excuses. He didn't care. You're point was that he cared because he looked distraught after he last game in charge, which was a worse result and performance IMO against Arsenal than yesterday's. He looked like that because he knew he was failing as a manager not that he was failing Everton.

As for transfers, he agreed the major signings. There was not one he never wanted or rejected. Adjust for inflation all you want we're the 3rd biggest spenders in the league this season and so far away from the top 6/7 sides it's unreal that's it'll take another £200mill to fix with most of the squad he bought needing to be sold.

As for relegation...we were in there. We'd conceded the most amount of goals in the league conceding 2+ goals a game, we're in the bottom 3 leading up to December, one of the worst away records in the history of the club, in addition to one of the worst starts in the premier league for the club, as well as almost having the honour of the worst record for a English club in Europe.

But hey, he was alright yeah.

we where 13th going into December - not bottom 3 mate
We where not the worst defensive team when he took over, west ham and stoke had both conceded more, so 18th, we where also the 9th top scoring team.
Now 12 games later we have improved defensively by 1 spot, west ham, stoke and now Huddersfield are worse defensively, BIG improvement, we are now however 11th top scorer, so moved down two spots there, so overall a spot worse off if you average them...

Koeman was crap, Allardyce is equally crap, guess what we aren't in a relegation battle, because crap as we are, there is much worse in this league, and the table and results vs us show this.
