Hmmmm.

He defo wouldnt have been my first choice, but, hes a decent manager, The Mosh spoke of stability and I think he will give us that, I like the sound of the way he works with his tactics and his sports science, ive got a good feeling about him, unlikely that hes gonna be utterly amazing but I think he will do ok.

The errand boy says what Usmanov tells him to.

I'm reasonably ok with it. The noises from him are that he'll try and get Everton on the ball when it's possible.

I also think he's going to be very short term, so there's no reason to get worked up about him.

Yep...he'll be bombed out as soon as...and we'll go after Marco Silva to appease the masses and stay mid table and not kick any one off the park and sht ourselves in the Derby and have had luck stories in the cups and punch above our weight and that.

Sam cops a deaf 'un to his Groodison detractors.

Plus he likes a brown envelope and will have very little opportunity to see those in such a short spell

Good Frandels VanOrly.

Hes already got a proper good drink from the club, but pros like him wont be passing up the chance, dont you worry about Sam.

PIPE!

The project will take time Matty sadly, we have hit a bump in the road and we need to loop around and get back on track.

Personally, it all depends how it really is. And I will never know.

If he’s here to add another name to his cv full of rescue jobs at clubs that went down the next year then no, this is not really good.

If he’s here because he actually can’t believe he is in charge of Everton and this is the last chance that has been gifted to him and he’s 100% committed to the club for the long haul, then fine, nothing I can do.

I actually never minded Allardyce at all ever, prior to the England thing. I just remember thinking what an idiot. I don’t think he has a particular style of play, I think he works with what he’s got.

That said, me and you could have managed the club for the last two games and probably got the same results. He’ll take credit for that if we go on an amazing run. I read in the match report that he’d apparently sorted out the defence straight away. With that sort of touch it’s a wonder he turned down the Real Madrid job so many times.

If Allardyce gets us those things there'll be no one happier than me.

He wont though and Moshiri likes his superstar names.

Mate the project has well gone down the swanny. Unless usmanov does come along then I can't see it changing. His money tho can do that.

I remember when it was said Koeman had achieved that...

I’m by far the biggest blue on this forum and Allardyce gets my stamp of approval so that should be good enough for you lot.

I’ve said since Martinez that we should’ve gone for Mike Bassett and although we’ve had 3 different managers in that time without Bassett even getting a look in, I feel we’ve got someone in the Bassett mould, so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a step in the right direction.
