What's the point in sacking him now? We will beat Brighton and Newcastle and allardyce is job done then.

As much as it's crap now, it's crap until may no matter who we bring in. Players aren't good enough and defence is woeful.

Just literally coasting until may is our only option. Actually arrange now of who to bring in at the end of the season and put a plan in place which involves gutting of the squad. But sacking him is completely pointless, the decision was made and sadly we have to live with it a little while longer

That's like finding someone back scuttling your Mrs and you saying finish up mate you might as well, I'll be in the corner with my mates...

So your best defense of him is he is a failure among failures?
I’m not even trying to defend him. I certainly don’t want him here beyond May. It’s important to keep his appointment in context though. He was brought in because we were terrible. We’re still terrible so he hasn’t done enough but it’s not all his fault. Sacking him will not solve all of our problems. It’ll appease the fans for a while though.

Yeah, everybody wants him sacked, hell I want him sacked, but I dont see the need to protest or not even wait till the end of the season, not unless results dont improve of course.

I think some people think we will sack Sam, appoint Alf Ramsey and win the World cup in the summer.

We will sack Sam and appoint Unsworth, who was so far out his depth he needed the Coastguard or even Marco Silva, a man with a flawless record in relegation fights, Fights 1, Lost 1.

So yeah, I think we should wait and see what the next game brings, cos sacking him atm wouldnt be optimal.

I reckon Franny Jeffers could get the 4 or 5 points we need never mind Unsworth.

No reason not to sack. This is about preparing for next season. Every day longer Sam's losing mentality stays at the club, the harder it gets for a new boss.

Unless we are planning on selling abar 20 players, the new manager will be getting the losing mentality anyway, its ingrained in the club.

That's why the new manager needs to be in asap and they need to have no previous experience of English football. They need to know nothing about our recent past. They just need to be a smart tactician, who likes to play with pacey technical players, and be a ruthless recruiter who will get the players they wants and will bin the players who are gash.

Paulos busy winning the CL atm.

Only players that should be kept going into the next regime should be:

Pickford

Coleman Keane ??? ???

Gana ???

Walcott Siggurdsson ???

Tosun

Tosun deserves a run of games however there are 4 gaping positions in the current starting 11 that need sorting.

Add in Jags, Williams, Martina, Besic, Schnerderlin, Bolasie, Klaassan and Sandro all need to be moved on with Lookman and Vlasic given places on the bench and Calvert Lewin a loan move to a lower prem club.
