we need to step up the noise against him on Saturday, so the directors get the msg. cant see him going before the end of season, but when you hear him talking about the future, god, it cant be true, can it

Piss and wind mate, don`t fret.

Martinez and Koeman said the same things, when they were getting launched in the press.

It`s all following a predictable pattern.

That and the snake oil pitch he did with Keys and Gray after the Leicester defeat. Everyone feared the worst after the Southampton game and we'd spent six weeks trying to get other targets like Silva and Fonseca.

Carragher is a flute but he was right on Monday night. Sam Allardyce is our Roy Hodgeson. A mistake appointment that nobody really wanted anyway. Soon to be a footnote in the club's history.

Tell me about it.

I cringe when I think I posted the day after that about how he spoke so much commonsense

A snake oil merchant is right and no mistake

I would love it if Moshiri sat down with that russian fella whos on board along with Sams contract and highlighted some proper snakey little clauses in it that says you won't be paid out, only money talks to BFS not ambition and by the sounds of it he's seen his arse and towing the line now

He`s deffo has his arse kicked, but I`d imagine his contract will almost be a pro forma from all the previous clubs he`s " rescued ".

Insert name of club here ......... and insert amount to be paid here ...............

Just watched the press conference.

He's spoken to Moshiri now when last time he was asked he said he's not spoken to him much. Now there's a complete swerve in manner and tone.

Now all of a sudden he's sat in a press conference talking up the club, the ambitions and expectations.

Now all of a sudden he's backtracking on the Newcastle/West Ham comments and saying 7th should be what we're aiming at.

Sounds as though the big microwave head has been given a bit of a shock after that little smug laugh in his post-match interview at Burnley. He must have an arse twitching like a rabbit's nose over his job this week.
I hope you're right Tez I can't see him getting the bullet before then end of the season but surely to God we must be talking to other managers now

That`s been written for him by someone in the press dept of the club and he`s been told to say it.

It`s all starting to get a bit desperate for him now and I don`t feel the slightest bit sorry for him.

All he had to do was a show a bit of contrition and humility, but he just can`t bring himself to do it.

He disgusts me.

I've just walked in mate, and my lad started telling me what Allardyce had said, first thing I said to him was that sounded like it had been scripted for Allardyce. The funny thing is, it's actually made him look a bigger tit than he already was.

Even if we won every game from now till the end of the season, this bellend has to go. I can't believe as well that there are still some lads out there who are willing to give him a go next season.

can anybody who watched it give us a breakdown of what the fat waster said?

Moshiri sacked Martinez for finishing 11th and safe. Moshiri sacked Koeman for a run of form that was slightly better than what Allardyce is on now.

Allardyce is bottom of the form league in every single metric. The supporters hate him faaar more than they ever did the previous managers. All of that whilst he has Moshiri's own expensively assembled squad at his disposal. Add to that he's smirking in interviews and coming out with things like "it's not my fault if the players don't pass to each other."

He's getting the boot hard soon.

Manager Sam Allardyce wants to stay at Everton beyond this season, despite recent speculation over his position.

The 63-year-old signed a contract until June 2019 when he joined the Toffees in November in place of Ronald Koeman.

Everton have won just two of their last 12 games but Allardyce was adamant when asked if he sees his future with the Premier League club.

"Of course," he said. "I know all about Everton and what you have to achieve. I want it to be a long-term appointment."

Everton are 11th in the Premier League table after losing their last six away games, including an FA Cup defeat at derby rivals Liverpool.

"There are tough times and there are times when you have to draw in and close the doors and stay focused on what you want to try to achieve," Allardyce added.

"I came out of retirement because there's a long-term plan that I was excited to be a part of.

"I am having talks with [Everton owner] Farhad Moshiri, but those talks are confidential."
