Sam Kerr.

I'm sure it is but that doesn't justify a cabbie becoming a vigilante and abducting people to ensure they get paid.

If you get bilked they can pursue justice through courts and report it properly.

I think it is very different to be kept locked in place than it is to be locked in a car and being transported against your will. I'd also suspect that's not entirely legal neither. Over this side of the water they don't have the right to hold anyone as a private citizen. If you've been bilked then you go report it and go through the courts.

I'm very curious exactly how legal that standard practice is.
Well they didnt arrest the driver so it can’t be that illegal ,and mentioning that Sarah Edward’s murder is low
Ok so then there needs to be some looking into whether the police were right to tell him that. I wonder if the police told him to lock them in and not allow them to leave?

It's not wrong to say he abducted them, he did. Whether a copper's told him to do it or not doesn't change the fact he locked them in his cab and took them somewhere other than his destination.

Understand that you typically pay when you get out but that's the risk you take as a private licensed cab. I don't think it justifies what happened.
if he abducted him why wasn’t he arrested ?
