Here is the way I see it, FWIW.

Like a lot of people round these parts, I was mildly chuffed at Sammy signing.....thinking him a big name whose best days were long gone but whose presence would get the club talked about more and I hoped he might show a bit of class in what I assumed would be a limited number of starts and as an impact sub.

Divil the bit.

Since the moment he came on against Chelsea he has looked sharp and has oozed confidence and class.

And he has scored four goals in all competitions thus far.

Sammy has been a revelation.

He is the best player we have at the club.

And that is no slight on the other lids.....Samuel Eto'o still looks a world class player.

As such, so long as he us 100% fit, Sammy's name should be the first name on the team sheet, IMO.

Fit the rest in around him.

I'd only slightly differ on when we're able to, Samuel should be rested to keep him as fresh as possible for bigger games. He's a massive asset and a even bigger plus for our club and if the media weren't so negative towards Everton, he alone would improve our image and coverage on TV/Radio/in the press... methinks our alleged PR people should start banging that drum !!!

Don't think he could feature that often, but otherwise I agree. When the schedule gets thinner it will be easier to plan with him in mind, but I'd rather the schedule stay busy for some time.

Yes....a bit much for him to start every game.

I just said that to reinforce my point.

He can't and won't start every game, of course......he should be kept fresh and in the really big games....it is Sammy +10 others ;)

See my post above :)

Was thinking that myself, almost as if the fans had gone stale under Moyes too. RM has given everybody a boost.

To be fair to Moyes, have we had any new chants since the 80s?

I am struggling to think of any :(

And then Bobby comes along and there seems to be a new chant every month ;)

^ Are these the boots he's been wearing?

He's wearing blacked-out (with a sharpie probably) Puma Evospeeds 1, of the last generation. The boots are likely blacked out, because his deal with Puma is over, and a new deal, with another company is in the making.
