Don't know about anyone else but I think Eto'o is going to be key to us doing well in the Europa League. Really don't want us to bin him off just yet.

Losing Eto'o as a player doesn't bother me all that much if we're going to replace him.

The more worrying prospect is that Martinez hasn't succeeded in selling his vision, or that things aren't gelling.

I've read the reports which do seem to add 'some' validity to this rumour, however I would be surprised if it does actually occur.

During any poor run of games you always get rumours emerging of players leaving, people unhappy and disagreements etc.

People try to find a reason for our short comings and their imaginations run wild. Some may be true, yet most are not (pure speculation).

Personally, I think this will turn out to be something along the lines of the latter. Replacements him would seem more effort than it's worth.

However, if it is true then so be it - as long as we find a valid replacement or use the funds to strengthen a weakened position. Wide player?

The last time we saw him, or 2nd to last, was at left mid ffs. Give him a run out in a position he can actually make a difference. He's produced some game changing moments in glimpses this year and is just a top player to have around. I'd be gutted if he went.
