DB hasn't been replaced directly as such.
And yes, so many good people have gone in the last 18 months that it smacks of internal strife... Probably a by-product of a CEO who is a micro-managing control freak who refuses to trust his staff and keeps roping in external consultants with little or no feel for the club.

Not the first time I've heard Elstone described in those terms.

We need to get rid of him and let Denise be the CEO.

Out of his depth is how I've heard elstone described as.

Not helped that the two people above him aren't fully engaged. One has a business to run and the other is more interested in crawling around Hollywood trying to mix with celebrities

Let's be honest we have a fairly poor media savy department. I'm not particularly social media friendly but I'd bet a considerable amount of my unconsiderable bank balance on myself (by myself)doing a better job than the whole lot of them together.
Richard Kenyon is director of Marketing and communications

Brian Dooghan is Head of Media and Communications.

Kenyon replaced Myers

Dooghan replaced mark rowan

Who cares, he's gone but both his new club and himself have shown their unprofessionalism by promoting him in the Sampdoria colours before we've sorted out the compensation fee, how you can blame Everton for that is beyond me.

Shame that the Eto'o chapter was barely a page long like, but c'est la vie

How come you didn't like Myers mate?

Not so much about whether I like him or not, but I know a couple of people in the 'media industry' and they've told me that he was a daft appointment and would do very little before moving on... And since he's gone, they've both said, "told you so."

Not exactly worse than what we have right now though surely?

Like I've said earlier, we have been weak in dealing with the media since the mid 60's so the club really, really, really do need to address how and who is to be tasked with raising the profile of the club as the low profile we have had for years is a contributory factor to absolutely no serious interest from outside the club in investing or buying.
