Sorry to be pedantic but Alan Myers was 'Director of Communications'.

When he left, they split the role into two, a 'Director of Marketing and Communications' and a 'Head of Media and Communications'.

Myers used to do media and marketing stuff. Now, Kenyon does the marketing and Doogan (came into post 2 weeks ago) supposedly does the media stuff.

Kenton took on some of his role and some of Myers. They changed the corporate structure and job roles/job titles.

Kenyon's role basically absorbed Biggar's role and added some of Myers role.

Otherwise there's no point having a communications department.

DB hasn't been replaced directly as such.
And yes, so many good people have gone in the last 18 months that it smacks of internal strife... Probably a by-product of a CEO who is a micro-managing control freak who refuses to trust his staff and keeps roping in external consultants with little or no feel for the club.
