I for one am so glad he has gone. Big shot has been. It was lovely to say that he played for us but I imagine he was hard work

Thing is if this is true he'll either have to retire or take 6 months off as I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to play for more than two teams in a season.
Doubt he will decide to cancel his contract, just appears to have had a big strop and stormed out and am sure the practicalities of the situation will hit him once he has calmed down.

But will be interesting to see how Samp handle it - they made a huge fuss over him signing but surely you have to bench a player that walks out of training whoever they are?

What a prick, glad he's gone the moaning [Poor language removed].

Never showed a single bit of his class for us either, useless has-been.

Think you can, just don't think you can play for more than 2 domestic teams in a season?

Maybe, but he acted swiftly to get him out of the club. Isn't that what Moyes did with Drenthe: took a chance on a wayward character and binned them shortly after?

Yeah totally agree that he deserves a bit of credit for shipping him out, but like Moyes, shouldn't have been blind sided by his past record
