The club should be going public and urging LCC to sort out what they should have sorted 4 years ago. Obviously the club won't wanna fall out with the council, but they should at least be putting some pressure on.
Rotherham has tried to make a show of the club by saying it was never getting built when we all know it was.
If/when the club by Nelson Dock and start regenerating further, more private investment will come into the area. That is leverage against the council.
200m on two new stations - which frankly aren't needed - and 500m on trains that don't work. No one is kidding us by saying money wasn't/hasn't been available.
