As a winger he is rather useless since he never beats his man nor gets himself in dangerous positions in the box.
I stlll sense that he'll make the cut and stay with us this season because he is a decent passer, mover and presser and more adept at executing Silva's tactical instructions than most of the current squad members. Stop-gap/water carrier alternative.
Hopefully not a starter in more than a few games though. Any opposing manager with half a tactical brain cell will disarm us by shutting down the opposing flank and encouraging the forward pass to Sandro as often as possible.
For his wages, by all accounts, we seem to get very little in return though.
