No English club will take him as it's very obvious he isn't suited to the league, so a club in Spain will take him in late August.

Fair play to him for trying in pre-season but he's unfortunately miles away from being the quality needed to be a realistic option for us.

I feel hopeful that this can work out well. I don’t think it’s impossible, as a youth player he has a pedigree - Barcelona, Spain.

He was 20 when he joined Everton, since then I’m not sure it’s been an ideal environment for developing! Hope that Sílva can turn him into the player he himself clearly wants to be.

Actually I don't think his performance is good enough, but he is young and have a long contract. He can keep one more year to observe his progress. If the progress is not satisfactory, sell him next season.

Why is everyone thinking he's deffo staying because he kept his number? Tosun never wore 9 at Besiktas so why strip his number?

If he leaves on loan or perm his number is free.

It really wasn't. The whole team's preseason was poor but he was actually the least bad in several matches.

I actually think he has been alrite in pre season me, people over egg how bad he actually was

not worth the 100k or whatever he's on but he's a far better option than say bolasie, needs to stay on his feet more and stop panicking so much in front of goal, but that'll come with a goal or 2 anyway

for the money we paid for him I think we can risk giving him another season but with a propa chance and still get our money back if it doesn't work out
