There were a few players that I had naive hopes would perform after a full preseason, Klaassen and him being two examples. Alas, he is still not good enough - despite his effort - and needs to go. Worrying that there appears to be no strikers targeted to replace him/upgrade on the others, though.

Under Koeman last season things were dreadful, apart from Pickford all the new signing struggled Sandro and Klassen struggled most. Watching Klassen on his rare appearances he lacked drive and pace that's why I think he was shipped out, Sandro on the other hand has a bit of pace and abit of skill, his shooting was poor but he scored plenty before he came here so he can hit the target, I think there's still time for him to come good. He should look at Niasse for inspiration how many Niasse out posts/comments this pre season not many, but I do fear if Sandro doesn't hit the ground running this season he will be the next player that gets slated most by the fans. IMO Sandro would let it get to him much more than Niasse did.

I think that after last seasons shambles, as long as players show they're trying, fighting for the team. Us fans shouldn't be slating anyone.
Ok maybe he isn't up to the standard, if he's trying for the short/badge/Everton! Then I think fans will appreciate this.

Any chance we can rid ourselves of this useless get by 5pm tomorrow? That said, no English side is going to take a chance on him, so don't we have until end of August for a European club to take a punt? Seeing as we only paid 5m, I think we can recoup that.

I am sure some would give £5M the issue is his stupid wages, no one will match them so we will basically pay someone to take him on loan.

I know, the loan part is disheartening, which is why you've pinpointed it with this .gif.

That said, as others have said before me, it's his wages. Neither of those clubs could even dream about coming close to what we give him. Try before you buy is our only hope.
