Genuinely doesn’t do the beach justice, it’s fantastic.

Was there on Sunday. Could literally have taken that photo!

Lovely place, but the Basque country does get pretty bad weather still.
'That kind of rain so characteristic of the Basque Country that doesn’t seem to get you wet, but soaks you to the bone instead: xirimiri. '

Was there for 4.5 days. Day we arrived and left it was blazing sunshine. 3 days inbetween was grey and wet! Typical. Suddenly lashed it down just as we got on the bus to the airport in Bilbao to come home.

OT: Good luck to the lad. Has done well imo whenever I've seen him, but defo more of a wide forward than a striker.

He is undoubtedly an Everton Legend! Not for his skills or commitment but because he embodies ‘Everton that’
We buy a Spain U21 international on a freaky buy out clause for <6M and he doesn’t stay for more than 6 months. All the pundits talk him up as the bargain of last summer... He exhibits all the skills and abilities plus a certain x-factor but has no end product. He has a fantastic season scoring 19 for Malaga, comes here and gets 1.

When?

..let’s hope he can finally make some type of positive impression on loan and we can move him on a permanent. I’m sure it’s what the player wants. He should at least be going in a more positive mood.

Good luck to him, from the little I’ve seen of him he’s a hardworking lad. He is either going to perform well enough to gain interest in a permanent transfer or come back to a more settled team for another crack at making it work. As much as I would like to see him succeed with us he seems to not be what we need - So hopefully he makes an impact and gains a move for himself.

Rubbish player, waste of money. Hopefully they'll want to throw some money our way to make it permanent. Fingers crossed never see him in a Blue shirt again.
