Brings back memories of my own playing days.
At least I wasn't being paid though.

He must have a twin brother and they took it in turns to play, then one day the decent one that used to score goals hit the bottle and was unable to continue leaving the Sandro we know now. It's the only reason I can come up with how we decided that he should be one of the biggest earners at the club.
People blame walsh but the majority on here ecstatic when we got him and gave it their full backing. He used to play for Barca so obviously a lack of confidence rather than ability is happening here.
..but the majority of people on here are not professional DoFs being paid a fortune to get such decisions right. His record suggests it’s more to do with him being very ordinary than lacking confidence. He’s a very fortunate young man.
He doesn't even look like he could control his own balls. He NEVER looks like he has control of the ball, I mean EVER!
Lucky we didn't throw massive bucks at his signing fee although his wage is a whackthis
anyone who hasn't read the piece done on him about why he is awful and that it really was a culmination of good luck the year in spain needs to read it

and this was day1, we had only just signed him
to summarise "he can strike a ball well, but that is about it"
Such a shame for the lad that he's been lacking confidence for 4 out of the 5 seasons he's been playing football.People blame walsh but the majority on here ecstatic when we got him and gave it their full backing. He clearly wasn't that highly thought of at Barcelona because they released him without offering him a new contract. For a club that's notorious for inserting all manner of buyback clauses and for keeping academy graduates around for longer than normal (Munir, Samper, Rafinha are current examples) that's a strong suggestion that they just didn't think he was up to it. No shame in that obviously, but I think it's important to be truthful about it when we're judging the lad's ability. 'Released on a free by Barcelona' and 'highly rated by Barcelona' aren't quite the same thing, and one maybe gives a more accurate indication of his level than the other. He scored 15 league goals for a limited side only 2 years ago and was well thought of in Barca's academy. He's extremely raw likely at rock bottom confidence wise but he can't be a total no-hoper.
Seriously doubt he'll hit off here but I do think he'll come good for someone, somewhere eventually. Just needs to find the right environment and be given a long run in the side.
Maybe going back to Malaga would be the right move?!
