Davy had a successful career before Everton and seems to have settled in well (reportedly solid performances) at Werder Bremen.; as such, I blame Koeman!Nowhere near. At least the 3 you mentioned had some decent moments (Alcaraz started alright, Kone got a hat trick, McGeady did..stuff)
Klaassen however...

Take away the one season at Malaga, then he's scored a total of eight goals while playing for a top-flight club, with most of them being in cup competitions - 20.5%!Wow one anamoly season and we give him 100k/w, what a mess.

In fact, fifteen out of his grand total of thirty-nine career goals (38.4%) came when playing in the the second flight of Spanish football. 41% came for Malaga!
He must be laughing all the way to the bank and I hope he sends Walsh a birthday present every year to thank him for his generosity. K' off you Spanish fraud!
Neither do I to be honest as he rightfully took what was offered, and most of us had high hopes for him. Unfortunately, he became another Walsh disaster.Embarrasing is what it is, I don't really blame Sandro though. I wouldn't pass up a lottery win.

When you consider the transfer fees and wages that were offered to a number of players, no wonder we're now finding it difficult to right the situation.
We went from being quite astute under Moyes (no big fees, some great bargains and a limited wage structure) to wasting so much cash on absolute dross.
To use your lottery analogy, we became a lottery winner who had never really had any money so decided to spunk it all without thinking of value or longevity.
It's interesting that he's only a year older than Calvert Lewin, with similarly appalling stats, yet he's a fraud and DCL is our future.
