It's interesting that he's only a year older than Calvert Lewin, with similarly appalling stats, yet he's a fraud and DCL is our future. How does that work?
If you judge him strictly by goals, it's not pretty. Granted he only played like 1000 minutes and played a ton of left sided midfield. He works hard, creates a lot of chances, takes a lot of shots, but seems to be unfortunate. He's not been that bad and I've watched that team a lot, but he's hardly a 90K a week player of whatever he's on.

Think he's going to have to be loaned out again. He's still got a shot at turning it around, but his first touch isn't good and there's only so much you can do about that.

Yeah sure but Sandro didn't cost 20 odd million either.

I don't even think Klaassen is a bad player, just a bad signing for us.
He might be a mediocre player though, honestly. I had read about his fantastic performances in Germany, but he hasn't impressed when I've watched him. I know it's a lower league, but in Holland he was more dynamic. He would get into clever positions and actually score. I just see none of that anymore. Good first touch, can still play a clever ball, but he's just such a poor athlete I don't see how his skills and intelligence are good enough to make up the difference.

DCL has had good games for us while this person has done nothing but make a show of himself whenever he’s entered a football stadium for the last two years.

Ajax improved massively after he left also...

Ha ha. He's brilliant. Sign that guy.

What happened to that player? This must be the biggest and longest crisis of confidence in the history of football.

It could only happen to Everton.

Yeah surely he isn't as bad as what he is playing like now. Maybe a goal or two within quick succession could kick start his career again. Obviously not at us but if we loan him out again.
