Presumably we could come to an agreement with him to allow him to find another club? Not heard anything about it like.
Yes but the key point , as you referenced , is that we would have to reach an agreement with Sandro to do so.

We cannot just terminate his contract without good cause ( a gross breach of contract that is perhaps highly unlikely ) .

There has to be a mutual agreement.

Can see Marcel calling him into the office to discuss a performance improvement plan lol

Haha the only way we want to cancel his contract must be because every club has told us they don't want him. Cancel his contract, give him the equivalent of 5 or 6 months wages and then he can add that on top of a more fitting salary at one of the smaller spanish clubs. We must have done the finances and can't get anyone to cover the equivalent of what we'd outlay.

None of us saw this signing being this bad. We all said "low fee, if it goes wrong we won't make a hit on it anyway"

God we were wrong ha

Unbelievable how badly things have gone for him since Malaga.

Yep, even taking into account him not settling here, I would have thought he would have gone back on loan and done really well for someone and we sell him for a nice profit.

The fact that he's been utter garbage for everyone makes it look like that 1 great season at Malaga was just a one off.

Surely you can be allowed to cancel your contract for poor performance. If I'm crap at my job i can get sacked.
We are talking football here mate, where managers get sacked for underperforming and still get compensation, it's not like any other job I've ever heard of haha

Still brilliant this, looked like he kicked a land mine

I’m not having that we’ve just cancelled his contract whilst the window is still open.

Makes zero sense.

I could see a scenario were rather than paying a percentage of his wages in a loan move, that we agree a pay off and he signs a permanent deal with his new club though. But not just paying him off now, whilst there’s 2 weeks left and clubs will get increasingly desperate.
