Mustard all day long.

I couldn't sleep so I've just got up and made a ham, cheese and salad cream sandwich. Loads of pepper. One thing that did strike me is that I'm absolutely terrified of making a noise in the kitchen when it's in the early hours. I'm a fully grown man, I own my house have a car, an expensive tool box and all sorts of grown up manly stuff but here I am tip toeing around like a kid on Christmas morning so I don't wake my missus up. If she got up in the middle of the night to make some food she wouldn't think twice about waking me up to ask me where the hand blender is.

My go to is usually on Pan de Coca which is a Catalan bread in shape of a ciabatta more or less but normally softer and different texture...think it's just a Catalan thing..

Anyways plenty of butter (or some time I rub tomato on it instead and add olive oil salt and pepper which is common here instead of butter). Then some fresh cooked ham, thick cut cheddar cheese, jalapeno slices and a runny fried egg or two . Pop the cheese/jalapeno side in to melt the cheese. Nice cup of Barry's tea and I'm happy out.

Had to cut the side of crisps out as the crisps over here are crap and I was buying pringles sour cream and eating half a tub instead of a few! When back in Ireland I like a cheddar cheese & onion Hunky Dory's or McCoys with my sandwich

Also, pinchos in northern Spain/Basque region (mainly Bilbao?) are pretty amazing.
