Fancy paying Jordan Henderson £700k a week tax free.

He's very lucky. They usually end up with one of these a day when they're near retirement.

Are any of these Saudi teams making sort of normal signings? Like squad filler types for £6m. Or are they exclusively signing aging stars or half-decent players for hyperinflated fees?

Is it like China, when you'd get Oscar and Hulk playing with a bunch of Chinese amateurs?

They already have a load of average players like Marega and Ighalo. I don’t think they are that interested in improving their national team, like china were.

It's going to be interesting seeing those teams in the Asian Champions League, especially going up against the likes of the Australian entrants.
The Japanese and Korean teams have usually been pretty competitive through the years.
However should become a closed shop sooner or later.

The big question is whether one or two Saudi teams will join a super league in years to come.
Let it come to pass. This is where things are heading. It will eventually happen and certainly fail and perhaps then we'll see a return to something we can identify with and compete in.
