Emotional Graeme Souness admits he will be roaring on Ukraine when they face Scotland on Wednesday night.
The ex-national team captain is putting his football loyalties to one side by backing the war-torn Ukrainians qualify for the World Cup.

Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic way of looking at a situation. Souness is a disgrace.
This is a match where I wouldn't normally be remotely interested in the result, but this kind of ridiculous display of sentimentality just has the opposite effect on me.
COME ON SCOTLAND I HOPE YOU 'KIN BATTER THESE.
They should lock that scumbag up in Barlinnie.

This thread is magnificent already.

It's a bit daft emotionally hoping Ukraine win, like you may as well let them win the World Cup as a message to Russia.

Scotland though. Hmmm. Always amusing seeing them all excited about the big tournaments. They have that bizarre mix of the worst Geordie tendencies for wackiness as well as some OTT partizanship that a particular type of England fan exhibits. So yeah, Scotland for me. Keeps me entertained watching them, the wig wearing tartan festooned loons.

GTF into them.

The decider between Wales and the winner of this is on ITV on Sunday.Hope its Scotland v Wales again. They also played in a world cup play off in 1977 at the RS ground, my old fella reckons there was 50,000 jocks at Anfield and just 500 Welsh.
