Im Scottish and cheers to all the boys on here who supported us last night. I have said on here before that i feel for England (my on-off partner is a Geordie) and i really hope you get through. England much like the rest of the home nations) are a fair team and play without cheating like a lot of our European counterparts.

Ghostly is correct to a degree, but its a generalisation and not everyone is like that. I know some English guys who would have been wishing us nothing but defeat yesterday, but for each one of those it appears that there are other who wish us well.

Fair point mate, but English people don't feel the need to go around English schools looking for children who are going to support the other team. I found that quite distaceful.

Again, i dont know anyone who has did this, it wasnt me and it wasn anyone i personally know so its a bit of a generalisation. Plus if i was being a prick i would say Scottish people dont invade countries and rule with an iron fist! But im not a nationalist **** so, as i said before good luck.

Bizarre that one my friend, because Scots and Welsh are part of the British army, and we invaded Iraq on the say so from a Scottish Prime Minister.

As I have said earlier, it was on local news in Scotland and Wales. Instantly breeding hatred towards English people in children as young as 9.

A good example of how shallow all this bigle is is the story of Maddeline Mcann. She is half scottish half english, the whole nation i.e. Britain is behind finding her etc, so its not all hatred towards one another. Anyways im really not meaning to offend or anything like that mate, its just i dont want to see England get beat so i had to throw my point into the debate.

The way i see it is that i dont have any particular reason to want to see England get beaten. The invasion point i raised earlier was in realtion to why some Scots feel a hatred towards English people i.e. Scotland being ruled and invaded by England. Some people still have an issue with that, personally i think its silly to hold a grudge for so long but they dont.

Absolutely. United Kingdom? Your joking me. When it comes to sporting events as a single nation everyone hates England. Guarantee Scots, Welsh and Irish last night were supporting Russia and they will be supporting Croatia on Wednesday.

The majority are very bitter towards England, dont get me wrong I support Scotland in tournaments, i'd have liked them to win last night but I wasn't bothered at all they never.

Am sick of the whole 'Scotland deserve it' as if they have some sort of divine right. No they don't deserve it because they haven't been good enough.

But on the other side of the coin losing to Georgia probably means you dont deserve something?

If Scotland deserved to go though, who in their group didn't? France or Italy? Both them sides performed better than Scotland so as far as am concerned, Scotland didn't deserve anything.
