All fans of the major Sdid cottish clubs Celtic, Hibs, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen have all protested. Only the English wannabes rangers went along with this...and then some.

It's defo a seperate culture and will hopefully soon be a different political entity.
Well I don't agree.
Mind you I'm fed up with all the sycophantic commentary on telly down south. I feel we Scots did all this business a week ago and did it better and that's that.
Actually the most surprising reaction was at Tynecastle that Thursday the Queen died. Extraordinary.

Mostly respectful minute's applause at Easter Road. Some half-hearted booing. That's it over with anyway!
Same at my game, a very respectful minutes silence , folks in the stands stood up for it, players wore black armbands, then proceeded to kick each other all over the pitch when the game got underway. As it should be . A chance to pay our respects , then on with the fitba.

I heard it.

Only rangers are out of step.

I find it surprising that you find it surprising that was the reaction at Tynecastle.
Well, traditionally the Hearts are the establishment team in Edinburgh - like Rangers are in Glasgow - and you would expect their supporters to be a bit more respectful of the protocols, at least vocally.

It's all rubbish really and I've had it up to here with all the sectarian nonsense in Scotland.

It's actually worse now than when I started following football in 1963. I blame the internet for that.

But for as long as the standard response is "the other lot did something wrong too" it will never get better

I’ve always found the image of Scotland as a very welcoming and friendly country when it comes to tourism and visitors but the Scot’s don’t seem to show that to each other. Angry and bitter/bigoted with each other.
Not sure if independence would make any difference.?
Just out of interest gonetomorrow what makes a team the establishment team?

I honestly don't know. I'm acquainted with both sides and there's no difference!
But it's the perception of many people.
