A bit of “ European fitba” for me today , well close to it, Buckie v Linfield in the Scottish Trust Challenge cup. It may have been a shock for the Linfield fans who travelled from Belfast with their Rangers tops and Union Flags to then discover they were playing a team in Green & White hoops. Buckie lead 1-0 after 53 mins, the ref gave a dropped ball to Linfield who played it and stood and watch as Buckie‘s Goodall ran on to it and from 20 yards chipped the goalkeeper who’d wandered off his line. This lead lasted until 74th minute when Linfield scored two quick goals . Not a bad result against a team of full time professionals, aided by Linfield having a man sent off on 35 mims. 1-2 Final score.

Good contest at Hampden. Tough challenges going in.

In fairness, it's two poor quality sides.

Tierney must be made of sponge. Swapping Tierney for Taylor is like being dumped by a beautiful girl and going out with a plain girl on the rebound.

Scotland's goal was outstanding play by Christie, and a lovely finish by the much maligned, certainly be Celtic fans, Hendry.
