Obviously, I wanted Scotland to win, but I'm still struggling to see the penalty for Scotland's winner.
In my humble opinion, Christie dug Scotland out of a hole with an excellent piece of skill.

Ireland well worth a draw. They were easily the better team in the last two games against Scotland. The aggregate score of those fixtures of 4-2 reflects that.

I thought it was a good game but I thought a harsh result on Ireland, granted did not see all the first half, just thought Ireland always looked dangerous on the counter, Parrot should have scored to make it 2-1, thought the game was heading for a draw with the pen happened, needless pen to give away although hard to fully see but in real time i thought it did come off a hand of an Irish player. Aqnyway well done on your win CV and enjoy your night.

From what i have seen so far, Ukraine are a better footballing side than Scotland. Maybe the game being played in neutral country might help Scotland?
If it hadn't been for Ryan Christie, Ireland would have got a result tonight. I still haven't seen how we got that penalty, but I'll take it.

We have a league of Ireland manager managing the team! Stephen Kenny is a nice guy and a very good manager for his level, but this is international football!
He was the cheap option for the job. Mind you Ireland could have the Pope, the Dalai Lama, and the Archbishop of Canterbury on the sideline, and it still wouldn't make any difference!
It'll be a long time before we play in a world cup again sadly. I actually supported Scotland in the 1998 world cup. It's about time they qualify for another one.
