Closer to the sheep than to Celtic. As much as i like the Gio as a person, the writing is well and truly on the wall now.Jesus.

He has a contract until 2027, crazy paying a lot of compo for a guy who failed previously at Stoke where he only lasted 10 months.Nah, they`re all in for Nathan Jones from Luton.
Been given permission to talk to to him.
We are at the Caixinha levels now but hey you could be right, that point could keep you above the Dons?I wouldn't say it's season over just yet, but the Gio did well last season only losing a european final on penalties, and winning a Scottish Cup.
Things have gone a bit awry at the moment, but i don't think we're at Pedro Caixinha/Graeme Murty levels of ineptness just yet. That point gained yesterday, could very well turn out to be a very good point indeed.
He'd crumble under the ibrox crowd. He has a contract until 2027, crazy paying a lot of compo for a guy who failed previously at Stoke where he only lasted 10 months.
Quick change of heart mate.Closer to the sheep than to Celtic. As much as i like the Gio as a person, the writing is well and truly on the wall now.
Gio is a very nice man, i really did want him to be a success, but there is talk of protests against the board now. It's a results based business and he just isn't getting them.Quick change of heart mate.
Billy McNeil and jock Wallace both returned to the old firm after leaving.Gerrard has two options: the English lower leagues or go back to Rangers. I dont think his ego will allow him to take the former route.
I doubt Beale is going to go back to Rangers because - unlike Gerrard - he has interest from PL clubs in England.
If his family situation allows for it I can see Gerrard making an unlikely return to Glasgow with MacAllister. Grumbling Rangers fans are now shell shocked Rangers fans and most likely would accept it.
I think they realise it took Gerrard three seasons to sort out their mess and eventually topple Celtic - and GVB a season to demolish it again.Billy McNeil and jock Wallace both returned to the old firm after leaving.
But both were club players or celtic/rangers men so to speak.
Slippy isn't in that bracket, whatever that lot say.
McNeil was a failure down the road, not sure about Wallace tbh,he wasn't 1st choice for the Rangers job iirc.
Can't see the diehards being happy tbh.

Fans are pragmatic. I could be wrong, but I dont think the original departure was met with extreme hostility from the bulk of rangers fans. Disappointment more than anything else. They also must accept too that their Europa League final run last season was down to the experience of beating decent teams under Gerrard.
