As stadiums:

CP was impressive; Easter Road was a bit of a dive.

Atmosphere on the times I went there (barely 4 games):

CP: hopeless
Easter Road (probably because Everton were playing) lively.
Tynecastle is a great stadium which can create a superb atmosphere ,especially against the Old Firm and Hibs.

Tbh most run of the mill league games at both Ibrox and Parkhead can be fairly flat most of the time but when the occasion merits it both stadiums are up there with the best in both aesthetics and atmosphere.

I'd agree with that although I preferred the old Tynecastle.
In the early 60s you had the feeling that you were right in the middle of the town.
