That is 100% Celtic's blueprint and how they make money and they make no secret of it, buy a player for 2/3 million and punt them after a season or two for around 8/10m.
It works well for them but does affect their European exploits.

I wasn't 100% happy with his appointment. Not because of the way he flecked off the last time, but with the slow possession football he played, and his poor signings, in his first spell.

So far, Celtic are, once again, playing ponderous possession football.

In fairness to him, we've had injuries to important players, and our signings this season have been anything but a success so far.
