Well Buckie Thistle did , Highland League Champions! It was as tense as an Everton last day relegation battle, 1-0 up in the first half , Brechin also 1-0 up at half time , then 1-1 Brechin , so a 1-0 victory would mean Buckie’s title and they held on to do it . Brechin made it 2-1 in their injury time but by then Buckie had finished and the pitch invasion had begun as Brechin had to go from 1-1 to 5-1 in injury time to claim the title.
A fantastic effort from a bunch of part timers who played and won six matches in the past 12 days. A cup final on Tuesday , then onto the playoffs against East Kilbride , Lowland League Champions .
