Scottish Football, while always having just two big teams, always had a load of really good footballers who would then come down to the English league. Now they have none. When was the last time a Scottish footballer with real talent signed for the EPL or even for a team in Scotland.......it's league is a joke and it's footballers are dreadful..........

Tierney last year ? Has gone down the nick though, one time every decent team had two or three Scots in it, but as you say years ago.
 

No point risking it. Plus, chance to kick on and develop in Europe like under O'Neill and Strachan.

I think the reason Celtic are what they are now is that they didn't spend willy-nilly whilst the other lot spent themselves into outrageous levels of debt under Murray

Like it or loathe it, the current approach of buying low, developing and selling high is one that works and is the best for the prolonged survival of the club. Celtic living within their means gave them this decade of dominance almost by default. No point jacking it in now because they drew with Killie
