It's gone past that now IMO.

And delay in sacking him will be to get a new manager sorted out. I'd expect him gone by the end of the week.

I dont really follow Scottish football, barely follow English football outside of EFC come to that.

But who is the sort of manager they could get? It always seems to me that some random Scottish club chance on a decent one, (Scots are good managers by and large), like the bloke at Scotland for example. Then they kinda fade away.

It's mostly europa league games I've seen the old firm this year. Rangers have looked a much better side than Celtic but I've thought that before too. I dunno if they are having the break again next month, but thats usually been when rangers have fell away and celtic have hit form. Rangers look much stronger but they are unproven under pressure. I dont think its over yet by any means.

They should do all they can to persuade Steve Clarke to take the job. He previoulsy turned it down, but maybe this time he'd take it.

Celtic fans want Benitez, but it'll no doubt go to Strachan.

They look full of self belief. A cushion like the one they have will settle their nerves and theylll keep churning out wins. Only hope Celtic have now of 10-in-a-row is to replace Lennon and hope they get a boost.

Is that the one who did well at Kilmarnok or sommet, and got the Scotland job? Done ok with them hasnt he?

I’d be hugely disappointed if one of the Old Firm kneecapped the National Team like that
Don't think the old firm really care about the National team so that wouldn't deter them if they are considering Clarke.
In recent times the Scotland job has been taken either by a crestfallen out of work manager or one on the wain, Clark has been the exception, poached from a provincial club where he did an exceptional job and young enough to go out there back to club management and still have a fair chance of being successful.
Would Celtic go for him? Would he take it if offered? One thing for sure there is no coming back for Lennon his tea is oot.

Strange bunch them.

Like, what even is that about?
In a way I can understand it. Yes, they have had it all their own way for a decade or more, winning all the trophies on offer, and it looks like entitlement. However, the Scottish football scene - as they know - doesn't have great status, so being denied a significant hisotorical record like 10-in-a-row to hold over their hated rivals was always going to be tough to handle.

The Celtic supporters should be protesting against their CEO, Peter Lawell, and their owner, Dermot Desmond, more than they should their own players and manager. They failed to upgrade their manager and squad just at the time that Gerrard has Rangers as a real threat.
