If Celtic were smart they'd play the long game here and realise the 10 is gone, so instead make plans now to replace Lennon in the summer with a new manager who will get time to build a new squad over a couple of seasons with the money they've stowed away from the past decade

The entitled segment of the Celtic support won't like it, but chasing instant satisfaction is what caused Rangers to fall behind to begin with, dating all the way back to McCoist spending silly money on journeymen when they were down in the 4th tier instead of investing in youth

Let's face it, a big reason why Rangers are winning now is more down to Celtic taking their foot off the peddle more than Rangers actually being that good. They've had some impressive results this season, but they are the same results you would have expected Rodgers' Celtic to have gotten a couple of seasons back. Rangers have improved somewhat, but Celtic have also regressed, and the combination of those two factors is why (Barring the biggest bottle job in footballing history) Rangers will be raising the flag next season (Likely with a full Ibrox if the vaccine works as we all hope it will)

Rangers have given Celtic a template on what NOT to do when your era ends, and they would do well to learn from it whilst there's still time
Rangers will have a problem soon: Gerrard will be looking to get down to England and manage there. He wont want to put in many more years in Scotland. He certainly wont be there to build a dynasty. Rangers then need to hope they get a proper manager in and who is prepared to commit to them. IMO the temptation will be to hand it to Gerrard's number 2 - Beale (who he took from Liverpool with him but may want to be number 1 there) or Gary McAllister.

Perhaps Corky will put Chris Wilder forward for the job? He was banging the drum for him and Eddie Howe to get the Everton job last year, he knows his stuff does Corky, funny he's not mentioned Wilder this season nor either of his precious Sheffield clubs, can't for the like of me think why?

He'll tell you that Stevie GBH has made "The" Rangers invincible.

You're right the 10 is gone.
This current Celtic team need a manager and players to hit the ground running which they have neither.
My honest point is Lennon has undone all the good work by Rodgers.
And at the time of Lennys appointment we knew it wouldn't end well, it was a temporary job at first.
Fresh start?
Possibly, although 9 years of dominance they should've pushed the boat out for the elusive 10.
Rangers wont bottle it .
Don't think there's much wrong with the team that a competent manager wouldn't run away with the league. Rangers are bumpiss and so is their manager, Lennons a [Poor language removed] and should only ever have been a short term appointment after Rodgers left. If it wasn't for Lennon we'd already have 10 in a row after he messed up in 2011 against Inverness.

Oh I wrote an unfinished post about the rainbow laces campaign. It's an initiative that is sort of a support network for lgbt people. Rangers have agreed to promote the initiative, and give these people some publicity. All credit to them for that.
Good for the club. I'm finding it hard to believe that more than only a few Rangers fans - the enlightened few - will approve. My experience of them at close quarters would suggest that anyone wearing rainbow laces would come in for heavy scorn from the terraces.

It's received a mainly positive response on the Rangers facebook page.Of course there was a small handful of fools, who reacted by pressing the angry face button, but im sure that would happen with any club.

It will soon be time to congratulate The Rangers Football Club plc on winning their first ever trophy.

Not bad going for a club which was founded only a few years ago.

Only 50 more league titles needed to catch up with neighbours Celtic, but you have to start somewhere.
Well you see they tried to get rid of Rangers, back in 2012.They thought they would rot in the lower leagues forever. There's still a long way to go, but if they do win it, it will be a remarkable journey all within the space of 9 years. They would have to make a film/documentary about it like.It would be a remarkable story.Rangers are on the way back, albeit by unpopular demand.:D
